Ali Kinteh and spoken-word poet Haylee Venus have co-founded Tahawal Theater Company. They created this platform to reinvogorate the theater world with stories yet untold. They intend to bring innovation, excellence and exceptionalism to the stage. 

The objectives of this company are threefold: innovation, excellence and exceptionalism in the production of stagecraft. Their aims are to bring universal fables, aesthetics and mythology to the theater and provide workshop activities to communities and learning centers in Britain and throughout the world.

Tahawal Theater Company will stand up (Tahawal in Wolof) as a platform for writers and poets, dancers and dramatists, thespians and artists, griots and musicians, to showcase their potential and advance their talent.
